ClientDesk adds strategic depth and leadership to their Board of Directors

Toronto, ON  August 9, 2017 – ClientDesk announced today the appointment of Stuart Bruce and Mike Senechal to their Board of Directors. Vision, innovation, and specific industry insights make the two new Directors an ideal fit for the organization. Both bring a background of technological innovation and organization acumen that are essential to help the company keep pace with its rapid growth while also guiding the ongoing development and resource management necessary to ensure long term success in a highly competitive marketplace.

Stuart and Mike join Phil MacDonnell, Newton Asare and Rajeev Kugan on the ClientDesk board. Phil is currently Vice President and a Director of Hawk Partners Ltd. which provides financial services to Canadian companies. He is President and Director of P.G. MacDonnell Services Ltd., a holding company in the financial services business, a position he has held since 1979. Newton Asare and Rajeev Kugan founded ClientDesk and also serve as CEO and CTO respectively.

About Mike Senechal

Mike Senechal is the kind of innovator who thinks technology can’t be great if people can’t use it. During his career, Mike has created and launched several successful Internet technology products to the consumer marketplace. Most recently, he was a co-founder of Zenbanx, the only mobile multi-currency account, Mike and his fellow founders went from concept to product with this innovative, regulated banking account and launched it in 2015 in the US and Canada. Zenbanx was acquired by SoFi earlier in 2017 and he is currently serving as COO of SoFi Banking.

Prior to Zenbanx, Mike founded devtopia, a software development company that launched several innovative insurance and banking solutions for the likes of ING Direct, CNA Insurance, Bank of Montreal and Insurance Pay Canada.

About Stuart Bruce

Stuart Bruce is no stranger to the insurance industry and in fact has spent the last 17 years entrenched in the premium finance marketplace. After founding Insurance Pay Canada in 2001 (now FIRST Insurance Funding of Canada), he successfully built the finance management system, team and broker network from startup to one of the largest premium finance companies in Canada. In 2007, Insurance Pay was sold to an Australian based investment bank and Stuart subsequently founded Policy Billing Services Inc. Stuart was appointed CEO of FIRST Canada after the merger of Policy Bill and FIRST Canada in April 2014. Stuart is a CPA chartered accountant and holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
